For example he has been available out of office hours to enable evening viewings, and has provided extensive property information and advice up front which has pre-empted questions and prompted ideas. This is an independent agency. The owners are extremely helpful, knowledgeable about the area, and keen to find the best match for their vendors and purchasers. Once the sale has been agreed, they do not just sit back and wait for the purchaser and/or vendor to call them to check progress, they are on the ball throughout the conveyancing process so can alert either party to possible 'situations' before a whole chain collapses. When I have purchased and sold properties in the past I have been so frustrated by having to keep 'bothering' (that's how I was made to feel) the respective agents and it is so refreshing to come across an Estate Agency that sincerely wants to make what is well known as one of the most stressful things people go through into a much less fraught experience.
